6th day - Tuesday - Aswan/Cairo:
Visit the breathtaking temple of Kom Ombo which houses some of Egypt's most
dazzling murals. Kom Ombo is also famous for its magnificent view of the Nile;
the perfect photo opportunity. Sail to Aswan and visit the Botanical Island
and the Mausoleum of Agha Khan by "feluccas" (small saling boats).
Disembark and transfer to Aswan airport for a short flight to Cairo where your
host will be on hand to escort you to your hotel.
7th day - Wednesday - The Egyptian Museum and The Pyramids:
Your first visit this morning is the Egyptian Museum, the greatest of its kind
in the world; it houses monuments dating back 5000 years. After the museum you
will visit the famous Pyramids and the Great Sphinx in Giza. The Pyramids stand
as a testimony to the ancient belief in the immortality of the soul. The great
Sphinx is a gigantic strange limestone beast with a lion's body and the head
of a human.
8th day - Thurday - Memphihs and Sakkara:
Drive today to Egypt's first capital, Memphis, which has the largest statue
of Ramses the Great. Less than two miles away awaits Sakkara, the Cementery
of Memphis which contains many pyramids and hundreds of tombs (mastabas).
You
will visit the Step Pyramid built in 2650 B.C., the Mastaba of Meriruka, which
has over 30 chambers, and the Pyramid of Unis (Last Pharaoh of Dynasty V).
9th day - Friday - The Old City:
This morning a sightseeing tour of the old city of Cairo will include visits
to Saladin Citadel, Gawhara Palace of Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, the Azhar

1st day - Thursday - Kennedy/Cairo:
Departure tonight from New York aboard Royal Air Maroc to Cairo via Casablanca.
Aboard you will enjoy the best of in-flight service and all meals.
2nd day - Friday - Cairo:
Arrival in Eternal Egypt today. You will be met and transfered to your hotel.
3rd day - Saturday - Cairo/Luxor:
Early morning transfer to Cairo airport in time for your flight to Upper Egypt.
In luxor, you will be met and escorted to your Deluxe cruise boat for a fabulous
four day cruise. After lunch visits will be made to the Temples of Karnak
and Luxor (18th Dynasty). Overnight in Luxor.
4th day - Sunday - Thebes/Luxor:
Today's itinerary will cover sights situated on the West Bank, such as Thebes'
Necropolis, the Valley of the Kings and the Tomb of Tutankhamon, the Temple
of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir-El-Bahari, the romantic Valley of the Nobles, the
Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Medinet Habu and the famed Colossi of Mempon
facing the Nile. Overnight in Luxor.
















From the coach you can see the Medina, Place Mohammed V, the United Nations
Square, the Central Market, the Habbous Sector, the surroundings of the Royal
Palace, the residential area of Anfa and the magnificent Ain Diab Coast dotted
with swimming pools and gourmet restaurants.Visit the exterior of the Great
Hassan II Mosque. After a seafood lunch, proceed to Rabat, the white Imperial
City, neatly laid out and covered with flowers. Your tour of the administrative
capital will begin with the Medina, teeming with life, the Kasbah of Oudayas,
the Mosque and Hassan Tower, then the splendid Mohammed V Mausoleum. You will
also tour the Ramparts and the Walls of Mechouar that surround the Royal Palace.
Check-in at your hotel, dinner and overnight.
12th Day - Monday - Rabat/Meknes/Fez - (150 miles)
After breakfast depart for Meknes, stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then
the sacred Islamic town of Moulay Idriss, Holy City where the founder of Islam
in Morocco is buried. Lunch at the "Volubilis Inn" Hotel overlooking the Volubilis
Ruins. Continue to Meknes. Visit the Moroccan Versailles founded at the close
of the XVIIth century by Moulay Ismail, a contemporary of Louis XIV. Meknes,
enclosed in a triple thickness of 40 km walls and bastions, is formed of two
conglomerates: on one side of the Medina, which has preserved the most beautiful
gate of Morocco is Bab El Mansour; on the other side, the new modern city. Then
on to Fez, check-in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
13th Day - Tuesday - Fez
The entire day will be spent visiting Fez, the most ancient of the Imperial
Cities founded in 790 B.C. by Moulay Idriss II, it then became the religious
center of Morocco. Visit the Medieval Medina, the Medersas (Islamic Religious
Universities), Bou Anania and Attarine, the Karaouine Mosque and the famous
Nejjarine Fountain. After lunch, you will visit a private building known as
"The Arabian House" which gathers different craftsmen still operating in the
old oriental tradition. You may want to buy some of their items displayed at
reduced rates. Return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
14th Day - Wednesday - Fez/Beni-Mellal/Marrakesh - (303 miles) After breakfast
leave for Marrakesh, crossing the region of the middle atlas, passing through
Immouzer Du Kandar, a Berber Village, the Lake D'ait Aoua, the perfect setting
for a rest. Also pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort in the heart of a magnificent
cedar forest. Also pass by the Azrous, a Berber town known for its handicrafts
cooperative. Stop for lunch at Beni-Mellal, a moment of
Lunch. In the afternoon, continue to the Souks and the winding little streets
whose decor willfascinate you. Also tour the famous place Djemma El Fna with
its nonstop entertainment: story tellers, snake charmers, fire eaters, and
all types of entertainers.
Dinner will be served at the famed "Chez Ali" restaurant where you will savor
a typical Moroccan meal under caudal tents and enjoy their fantasia performance
including camel and horse shows, folkloric and belly dancers. Return to your
hotel for overnight.
16th Day - Friday - Marrakech/Casablanca - (150 miles) Morning at leisure
for a final plunge into the atmosphere of Marrakech, or relax by the swimming
pool.
After lunch you leave Marrakech for Casablanca, arriving late in the afternoon.
Check-in at your hotel; dinner and overnight. 17th Day - Saturday -
Casablanca/New York
Take a farewell look at Casablanca as you are driven to the airport in the
morning in time for your return flight arriving New York in the early afternoon.
5th day - Monday - Luxor/Edfu/Kom Ombo:
Proceed to the Temple of Edfu. Visit theTemple of Hours (237 B.C.) the most
complete example of an Egyptian temple in existence.
Sail to Kom Ombo and overnight.
considered one of the oldest universities in the world and the famous bazaars
of Khan El Khalili. Visits will also be made to Abu Serga Coptic Church, built
over the cave where the Holy family took refuge to Ben Ezra Synagoge, the oldest
Jewish temple in Egypt.
10th day - Saturday - Cairo/Casablanca:
Take a farewell look at the fascinating city of Cairo while you are driven to
the airpory in time for your flight to Casablanca. Upon arrival in Casabl;anca
you will be escorted to your hotel.
11th Day - Sunday - Casablanca/Rabat - (60 miles)
After an early debarkation you will have a sightseeing tour of Casablanca.
relaxation and then on to Marrakesh. Little by little, you begin to notice the
red earth of the country contrasting so well with the clear blue sky and the
eternal green palms. Arrival, check-in at your hotel. Transfer to a Moroccan
palace for a typical dinner animated by a native folkloric show. Overnight.
15th Day - Thursday - Marrakesh
The entire day will be spent visiting Marrakesh, which simply cannot be described.
You must see it to believe it. Nicknamed "The Pearl of the South", it was founded
in the XIth century by the Almoravides. The founders of Morocco left behind
them in Marrakesh palaces, gardens...
You'll visit the Saadiens Tombs, the Dar Si Said Museum, the Gardens of Agdal
and the Menara, the Koutoubia, the Bahia and Bedii Palaces.
