Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure (D): ISTANBUL.
9rd day:
Morning tour of Istanbul: including the site of the Hippodrome, the underground
water cistern, the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace includes the Harem Rooms.
Afternoon at leisure (B, D): ISTANBUL 10th Day - Istanbul:
Visit the Basilica of St. Sophia, the Egyptian Spice Market and Istanbul's Grand
Bazaar. Afternoon at leisure to remain at the Bazaar or tour independently.

11th Day - Ancora:
Morning flight to Ankara, visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum and the Mausoleum
of Ataturk. Depart for Ürgüp in Cappadocia, enjoying a picturesque drive along
the Salt Lake (B, D): CAPPADOCIA.
12th Day:
Full day tour of the fairy chimneys and troglodyte dwellings of Cappadocia.
Visit the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Göreme, and the natural
fortress in Üchisar, Zelve and Avanos (B, D): CAPPADOCIA
13th Day:
Depart for Konya, visiting the 13th century Sultanhan Caravanserai en route.
Visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana. Continue to Karatay Theological School where
beautiful tiles are on display. Drive to Pamukkale (B, D): PAMUKKALE
14th Day:
Visit Hieropolis with its Apollo Temple, and Necropolis. Continue to Aphrodisias
to visit the ancient city. Drive to Kusadasi (B, D): KUSADASI
15th Day:
Visit Ephesus, Roman center of commerce and culture during the 2nd century BC.
Visit the house of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and Selcuk Ephesus
Museum (B, D): KUSADASI.
16th Day:
Transfer to airport for your departure flight (B).

1st Day - Departure:
Departure fron New York City tonight to Cairo. Aboard you will enjoy the best
in-flight service and all meals.
2nd Day - Cairo:
Arrival in Eternal Egypt today. You will be met and escorted to your hotel.
3rd Day - The Egyptian Museum and The Pyramids:
Your first visit this morning is the Egyptian Museum, the greates of its kind
in the





world. It houses monuments dating back 5000 years. After the muselum you will
visit the famous Pyramids and Great Sphinx in Giza. The Pyramids stand as a
testimony to the ancients' belief in the immortality of the soul. The Great
Sphinx is a gigantic strange limestone beast with a lion's body and the head
of a human.
4th Day - Cairo:
Late in the afternoon, you will be driven to the Pyramids of Giza to attend
a fascinating Sound and Light show.
5th Day - A day at leisure to do as you please. Relax or shop around
for souvenirs.
6th Day - Memphis and Sakkara:
Drive today to Egypt's first capital, Memphis, which has the largest statue
of Ramses the Great. Less than two miles away waits Sakkara, the cementery of
Memphis, which contains many Pyramids and hundreds of tombs (Mastabas). You
will visit the Step Pyramid built in 2650 B.C., the Mastaba of Meriruka, which
has over 30 chambers, and the Pyramid of Unis (las Pharaoh of Dysnaty V).

7th Day - The Old City:
This morning a tour of the old city of Cairo will include visits to Saladin
Citadel, Gawhara Palace of Mohammed Ali (the great grandfather of late king
Farouk), Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque, the Azhar Mosque, considered one of
the oldest universities in the world, and the famous Bazaars of Khan El Khalili.
Visits will also be made to the Abu Serga Coptic Church built over the cave
where the Holy Family took refuge and to Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish
temple in Egypt.
